Meindertsma, (creator of Flocks) has introduced a beautiful new series titled, 'Flax'. By studying the history of the 16th century Dutch cordage industry, Meindertsma collected flax, spun the filaments into yarn/strands and then crafted several objects, including an extension cord and ottoman (above). More photos of the other pieces tomorrow.
