Tres Birds, a wonderful design/build architecture firm out of Boulder CO sent me some photos of their latest work, a stump seat made from a found Maple log. The rotted areas were filled with wood aggregate epoxy.

Studio Jo Meesters recently started TESTLAB, a project which aims to create prototypes made only from recycled materials. The first collection of the series is 'Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces', a set of furniture made from 34 discarded wooden beams and 16 leftover blankets.
